Hubbard produces a complete range of refrigeration systems for all types of vehicle. These include several ‘Best in Class’ high performance systems as well as cost effective and reliable refrigeration for applications demanding robust simplicity – such as daily hire companies. All our refrigeration systems use environmentally-friendly refrigerants.

The following systems are designed for larger vehicles and frequent drop applications:

• The Hubbard 500 Series, Hubbard 520 Series and Hubbard 720 Series are split unit refrigeration systems designed for front mounting on box body vehicles offering larger capacities (520 3.5 up to 10 tonne, 720 7.5 up to 18 tonne).

• The Hubbard – Govet Eutectic systems use silent gel filled beams to provide totally reliable cooling and freezing on box bodies of 3.5 tonne chassis and upwards, The beams are charged overnight by a condensing unit using off peak electricity.

The temperature is maintained during deliveries by absorbing the heat through the Eutectic beams. This product is designed for Multi-drop deliveries, using cab mounted or underslung mains powered condensing units.

Available for the 520 and 720Alpha series is the Hubbard TWice Dual Temperature System. This is the latest development in multi-compartment transport refrigeration. Instead of the traditional large frozen compartment – with a fan transfer kit to maintain a fresh compartment – TWice evaporators are installed in the fresh and frozen loadspaces. This allows greater freedom of compartment size ratios as the temperature in each zone is entirely independent of each other as well as eliminating cross-contamination of air between each compartment.

Hubbard also offer a range of diesel drive, monobloc, split and trailer mount systems.
