Acrobat Rental Rolls Forward with Ten New Hubbard 460 Alpha Units

Acrobat’s Sprinter vans are a mixture of short, medium and long wheelbase giving a good choice of capacities. Acrobat Vehicle Rental’s high specification includes a heavy duty plug door on the nearside, 75mm insulation and chequer-plate protection throughout. All vehicles can be rented with a removable mid-bulkhead linked to a secondary Hubbard controller in the cab. Selected vehicles also have a diesel heater in the rear compartment to enable loads of +5C and +20C to be carried at the same time. Sophisticated temperature monitoring is provided by a Transcan recorder connected to Seveneye satellite tracking.

The Hubbard 460AEL units are fitted with a 16 amp single phase electric standby, which feature scroll compressors for maximum efficiency to minimise noise levels when running at night. The reverse cycle mode operates automatically when the desired load temperature is higher than the outside air temperature, typically in winter time. Acrobat’s units feature automatic condenser defrost, which is critical when the system is running in heat mode for extended periods.

In keeping with Acrobat Vehicle Rentals high level of customer service, the new vehicles all have ATP Class FRC certification ensuring they are compliant with all EU legislation and are suitable for European travel.
