Transport news Fine Food requires Fine Cooling

The Fine Food Company is an established wholesale supplier of high quality speciality food for Chefs in the Southwest. Supplying a wide range of fresh, ambient and frozen food products. It sources fresh, handpicked produce direct from speciality food markets and manufacturers and regularly purchases produce from Rungis Market, Paris. The new vehicles’ Hubbard refrigeration units were chosen for their reliability and especially because of the international support network it draws on being part of the Zanotti Group.

Chris Ricketts, Managing Director of the fine Food Company commented; “We have a long standing relationship with Hubbard Products and these new split units will run a refrigerated compartment at –22°C and a fresh compartment at 2°C to 4°C, with on average, 30 door openings per daily run, the ability to pull down quickly, reliably and economically was crucial”.

The R404A, split units have an engine mounted compressor and are designed with longevity and ease of use in mind, featuring a steel plate bearing structure to combat atmospheric corrosion and an aerodynamically styled external casing in anti-shock ABS with UV protection and a cabin mounted controller.

Jed Sherwood, Hubbard Products, Regional Sales Manager explains; “We now have 13 refrigeration units installed on the Fine Food Company’s fleet and these four new units will complement the existing units perfectly. Combined with our new 'X-Assistance' paperless service call for fleet owners and fleet providers that offers 24/7 access to a web based infrastructure for placing, amending and tracking service calls directly from their PC or smartphone. Customer service is our focus, and we're pleased that The Fine Food Company has selected a Fine Refrigeration system''.
