Hubbard announces completion of N1, N2 N3 European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval

Hubbard Products Ltd, UK based manufacturers of commercial vehicle refrigeration equipment has completed ECWVTA accreditation across its most popular models.

The type approval process, regulation 10 certification, was completed in stages from March 2013 through to1st May 2013. The certification covers Category N1 for vehicles designed and constructed for the carriage of goods having a maximum mass not exceeding 3.5 tonnes, N2 exceeding 3.5 tonnes but less than 12 tonnes and N3, exceeding 12 tonnes.

At the same time, Conformity Of Production (COP) clearance was issued by the UK VCA, confirming that the quality control systems and controls used in Hubbard Product’s manufacturing plants satisfied the requirements of 2009/19/EC, ECE10.04

The ECWVTA accreditation and COP clearance are valid for three years from the date of award.

In keeping with Hubbard Products’ position as leading suppliers of vehicle refrigeration units to the UK market, the following Zanotti Group equipment distributed by the company is already ECWVTA approved.



As part of Hubbard Product’s continuous development programme all future models and developments of existing products will carry ECWVTA certification.
