Hubbard Products Awarded
ISO 14001 Certification

Hubbard Products Ltd has been awarded an ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system certification from Anglo Japanese American Registrars (AJA), an independent auditor of quality and environmental systems.

"Achieving this certification displays our commitment to setting and achieving high environmental, health and safety goals," said Fraser Hale, Technical Director of Ipswich based Hubbard Products. "The ISO 14001 international standard confirms our process and methodology for streamlining environmental management and guidelines to ensure environmental issues are considered within decision making practices. As a company renowned for its innovative thinking and lauded for the energy efficiency that is inherently designed in to its products, this certification gives Hubbard's customers, suppliers and employees the confidence that being an environmentally sound manufacturer will ensure our position at the head of our industry in the years ahead".

ISO, or International Organisation for Standardisation, is a non-governmental developer of world standards for business and government. ISO 14000 is a family of standards that are primarily focused on environmental management. The ISO 14001 is a certification of an environmental management system, which requires Hubbard Products to manage, measure, improve and communicate its environmental program in a systematic way. Only those companies with excellent environmental programs qualify for this globally recognised certification.

Hubbard Products is one of the UK's largest manufacturers of refrigeration and cooling equipment to receive this certification from AJA. One of the primary requirements for certification is to have a comprehensive list of environmental aspects associated with manufacturing and maintaining refrigeration systems and identify those that can cause the most significant impacts to the environment. The key commitments of Hubbard's environmental policy includes stopping pollution, obeying environmental rules, improving performance and reducing waste.
