Hubbard Products selects new Managing Director
Ilias Katsoulis is the Managing Director of Hubbard Products Ltd., appointed January 2019.
Ilias is Greek, was born in Israel in 1977 and is married with two children.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and in Automation Systems from National Technical University of Athens and an MBA from Cardiff Business School of Wales.
Mr. Ilias Katsoulis, current Managing Director of Daikin Greece, in his turn will be taking over from Mr. Patrick Maughan, as Managing Director and Member of the Board of Hubbard Products Ltd.
Ilias’ commercial refrigeration career commenced in 2004, serving as Product Manager for the distributor of EPTA in Greece, delivering turnkey refrigeration solutions to the country’s biggest retail accounts. Maughan took the lead of Hubbard Products Ltd. in the UK, serving the cool chain supply sector in UK as well as abroad.
Mr. Ilias Katsoulis joined the Daikin Group 12 years ago and over the years, Mr. Ilias Katsoulis has taken different roles both in Greece and in Belgium. In Daikin Europe, Mr. Ilias Katsoulis was active as product manager of Daikin’s refrigeration product portfolio for 2 years.
From 2006 – 2010 he led the After Sales Department of Daikin Hellas, then moving to the European HQ of Daikin as Refrigeration Product Manager. His responsibilities included product development of commercial refrigeration products for the European market and for Daikin’s refrigeration business development in the UK, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece and Cyprus.
In 2012, he returned to Greece assuming the position of the Managing Director of Daikin Hellas till 2018 and serving as a BOD member until the present.
Since 2013, Ilias is member of the Board of SEPAK (Association of Companies for the Quality and the Development of the Construction Sector) serving as second in order Vice President focused in energy consumption and sustainability of buildings.
In March 2016, Ilias was elected in the Board of Applia Hellas (Association of Manufacturers and Companies of Electrical Appliances – CECED Member) to serve as Vice President and head of Air-conditioning Branch until the end of 2018.
In April 2018, Ilias was appointed in the Advisory Board of Greek Chapter of CEO clubs International.
Ilias is a supporter of the Montessori philosophy.
