Hubbard Products focuses on Energy Cost Reduction

Hubbard Products, the UK’s first manufacturer of Energy Technology Product Listed packaged condensing units is focusing on the benefits of reducing refrigeration energy consumption to boost cost savings and increase profits.

With up to 50%* of a typical food supermarkets annual energy cost coming from its refrigeration requirement and a massive 70%* for smaller, independent and symbol, convenience and express stores, the potential for significant savings with Hubbard Products’ Zenith Hermetic Condensing and ECA qualifying Zenith Scroll Condensing Units is easy to see.

Added to the obvious cost savings of reduced energy consumption, Enhanced Capital Allowance qualifying Zenith Scroll Condensing Units can offer significant and tax efficient cashflow benefits.

Dougie Stoddart, Sales Director at Hubbard Products, comments: “With energy costs representing an average of 12% of the total cost of UK business and rising inexorably as the world economy falters and political and natural influences impact on our global ability to produce energy cost effectively. Refrigeration users have little choice but to focus on the efficiency and viability of their older plant and equipment”. He continues, “Not only are energy costs reduced, but the improved efficiency and reduced loads that Zenith Condensing Units operate under improves reliability and reduces the likelihood of breakdowns, further reducing the costs of ownership”.

The Hubbard Zenith range features condensers with Thermoguard coil protection to deliver efficient condensing temperature in harsh environments, such as inner city areas, petrol forecourts and coastal regions. The units are F-gas friendly and to minimize refrigerant leakage and to ensure efficiency have no spindle valves. Ball valves are used throughout and the circuit design reduces refrigerant loss potential. Additionally the optional Hubbard PEPITM Portable Electronic Pressure Indicator removes the requirement to break into the system to check pressures when monitoring F-gas obligations.
