Commercial news Hubbard Packs a Punch in the Efficiency Stakes

Hubbard, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of refrigeration and cooling systems, has added a host of new features to its Multi Compressor Packs that demonstrate the company’s innovation and commitment to the development of higher and higher levels of energy efficiency.

Developed to meet the demands of the modern, cost-conscious convenience and retail markets Hubbard’s housed and un-housed Multi Compressor Packs are built to your unique specification, offering complete flexibility across high, medium and low temperature ranges.

For larger operations Hubbard offers multi compressor systems working in conjunction with airside products to ensure perfect product storage and for smaller facilities Hubbard can provide a single condensing unit with a cooler to meet the demands of the freezer cold store.

Dougie Stoddart, Commercial Director of Hubbard says, “Hubbard Multi Compressor Packs are highly flexible and we have several new features, including an extendable chassis that ensures a physically highly rigid package but is also flexible due to its extendibility. Hubbard also provides acoustic housing for the Multi Compressor Packs, continuing the all-important theme of noise reduction.

“Hubbard has experienced significant growth in its sales to refrigeration engineering contractors in the last year on the back of our acknowledged developments in energy efficiency and our ability to manufacture Multi Compressor Packs to individual specifications. We know how important it is to deliver, not only on specification, but also on time and so we work as partners with our customers ensuring that their customers are not let down and it is this that has secured us a confident order book.”

Hubbard Multi Compressor Packs provide a cost-effective, small footprint solution for any retail space.

Hubbard has invested significantly in reducing the environmental impact of its products since 2000 and it is now one of the major suppliers of Carbon Trust, Energy Technology Product (ETP) listed, Cellar Cooling Equipment, after being the first manufacturer and supplier to deliver fully qualifying equipment in 2005.

The Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme is designed to encourage UK businesses to reduce carbon emissions, which contribute to climate change by purchasing Carbon Trust approved energy-saving equipment.

When purchasing a Multi Compressor Pack, Hubbard customers can claim full capital allowances against certain compressors for their qualifying year tax assessment.

An option for the Acoustic Housed Multi Compressor Packs is the use of a digital scroll compressor, which offers the advantage of matching capacity and load very accurately and reducing annual running costs by between 5% and 10%.

All Hubbard products are backed up by full technical support from staff who are knowledgeable not only in the Hubbard Commercial range of products but also the industries in which they are used.
