Hubbard Mini Pack - Packs Tax Saving Punch for TCR Retail

Leading independent UK refrigeration, designers, manufacturers and suppliers Hubbard Commercial Refrigeration have delivered a valuable tax saving to Midlands based fast food catering supplier TCR Retail with the installation and commissioning of a Carbon Trust accredited, Enhanced Capital Allowance qualifying Hubbard Multi Compressor mini-pack to their new coldstore facility.

The system specified and installed by Birmingham based catering refrigeration specialist Burnett Barrows Refrigeration was chosen as the most suitable specification for TCR's expansion plans which involved relocation to new premises and the creation of a 1300 cubic metre "walk-in" coldstore. TCR supplies fast food catering outlets throughout the midlands with a range of high quality frozen foods. The company has grown rapidly over recent years and had a need for larger storage and distribution facility which also presented the opportunity to specify high efficiency cooling equipment.

Burnett Barrows specified a Hubbard Multi-Compressor mini pack matched with 3 Frigabohn evaporators. Hubbard Special Build provided a Bespoke multi-compressor condensing unit utilizing four Q5-28-Y compressors from Frascold's new "Q" range providing 30 kW at -27°C evaporating / 43°C condensing, mounted within a housed assembly with integral condenser and Carel electronic control. This was designed and built to exacting specification and in accordance with the full needs of it's customer.
