Hubbard LiteAir qualifies for ECA
Hubbard Products have today announced their complete range of energy-efficient LiteAir cellar-cooling systems has been awarded Energy Technology Listing and qualifies for ECA (Enhanced Capital Allowance) tax benefits with effect from 1st January 2016.
The Hubbard LiteAir systems fill the void left by the withdrawal of Eaton Williams "Qualitair" products from the cellar-cooling sector, and are compatible with the current Qualitair 410a machines. Additionally, Hubbard offers a full supply of spares for the Qualitair 410a range.
This is the first time that a Hubbard entry level cellar-cooling range has qualified for ECA benefits and brings energy efficiency and the associated benefits of low running costs and maintenance within reach of smaller independent users.
Only available from nominated wholesalers, the range of eight systems can be purchased "over the counter" and are available from stock. Details and locations of the nominated wholesalers can be obtained by calling 01473 892280 or 07831 620071.
To assist specifiers and installers of refrigeration equipment further, a smart phone quick selection "app" is now free for both iphone and android to easily and instantly suggest the correct LiteAir model for above ground or below ground cellars. For ease of use, the app calculates the volume of a cellar in metric or imperial measure and offers a guide to the system that in normal operating circumstances will supply the cooling required. An online calculator can be found at https://www.hubbard.co.uk/cellar-cooling/liteair/ where the app can also be downloaded to a smart phone.
Quick selection pocket guides are also offered directly from the nominated wholesalers.

The Hubbard LITEAIR system is designed to energy-efficiently chill cellars and perishable goods storage areas. Suitable for a wide range of products it is ideal for the storage of barrelled beers and bottled beverages.
Optimised for quietness the condensing unit (LC) is housed in a self-healing smart steel case for internal or external mounting. The evaporator (LE) can be wall or roof mounted and contains the system's temperature controller.
A heating option is available where conditioning is required for the correct storage of cask-conditioned ales.
